Guidelines and Criteria

We will be accepting applications for Q1 2020 experiments from November 18th – December 11th

The EveryAction Innovation Fund will fund experiments by our client partners on how to raise more money and spur more engagement, with a particular focus on using technology to do so. We will fund $120,000 in experiments per year, with experiments selected each quarter, and grantees will share learnings from these experiments back with the community. We are making this investment because we believe in the work our clients do and think we can play a role in helping them push the boundaries on how they are achieving their missions and doing more good.

Experiments could include messaging, use of data, or new tooling or tactics. Please be aware that a case study, feature webinar, or other public-facing material will be required summarizing findings at the conclusion of the program. Some fine print on eligibility:

1. Only organizations determined to be exempt from tax under section 501(c) 3 and 501 (c) 4 of the Internal Revenue Code may apply for a grant from the Fund.

2. The Fund does not issue grants or other funding to individuals, political parties or religious institutions. Applications will only be considered if they are aligned with our mission and one of the areas of interest stated. At this time, the Fund is currently only accepting proposals from organizations based in the United States of America.

3. The Fund will generally distribute between 1 and 3 grants per quarter. Moving forward, the application enrollment period will be open from two weeks prior to EOQ and close two weeks after beginning of the quarter for grants toward the following quarter. Enrollment periods will be announced in this space.

4. Grant announcements will be made 30 days following application window closing. Applicants must have organizational approval for EveryAction to publicize the results of their experiment, and for the organization to participate in reasonable efforts to share the results with the community, including use of the organization's name and logo.
